An automatic cover is a system of rigid PVC or polycarbonate slats that roll and unroll automatically to cover the pool. The mechanism can be submerged or above-ground.
Yes, if they comply with standard NF P 90-308, they are considered anti-drowning safety equipment for private pools.
They suit standard rectangular pools very well. For free-form shapes, custom manufacturing such as that offered by APF Pool Design is required.
Yes, they limit water evaporation and thus help retain heat. Our automatic cover slats are rated A and B according to European standard NF EN 17645 (this standard measures the environmental performance efficiency of the pool; A is the highest rating)
